Switchfoot's 'Mess Of Me' is the feat. VIDEO OF THE DAY on; Switchfoot plays Japan

For up to date (most of the time) news and original opinions before they hit the update, follow us on Twitter!

Sounds like the guys had a blast playing a show in Japan. Here are some tweets from the guys:

- Here in Tokyo, going to sleep as my home land is waking up. Japanese hospitality is unbelievable. Lost in translation, but loving it, -tf

- Good morning Tokyo! -@TimForeman

- Good night. Or good morning? Not really sure. Had a great time playing some acoustic tunes at a tiny packed-out place here in Tokyo. Thx!-tf

A day after it was announced that FUSE TV had added "Mess of Me" to their rotation, the song is now being featured as their video of the day! Here's what they had to say:

The full power of the Switchfoot live experience is on display in "Mess Of Me." Also on display? The full power of Switchfoot walking around town in artsy black and white and washed-out tones. Video after the jump.

^Great to see the video getting respect, finally!

Meant To Live was at #11 on Alt-Rock in its 16th week on that chart (ending up at #5)

Dare You To Move was #13 in 16th week on that chart (ending up at #9)

This Is Your Life made it 7 weeks peaking at #30.

Stars made it 12 weeks peaking at #16.

MESS OF ME is in its 16th week and has moved up to #16! Only 3 places below DYTM and only 5 places lower than M2L were at this point! It has already outdone Stars, This Is Your Life, and Oh! Gravity! Keep requesting, it is working!
