"Dark Horses" has potential to really come alive in the studio and on stage, as the band finalizes and gets comfortable with the song.

I'm excited for "Thrive" too, but hope that "Vice Verses" doesn't feel too sleepy.Jobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06149063647341259313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1781008634858321667.post-48350599953758240502010-12-23T23:28:08.521-08:002010-12-23T23:28:08.521-08:00Dark Horses is another one of those "grungy&q...Dark Horses is another one of those "grungy" type of songs too. I really really like Thrive, and Come Home is good too, but I hope there is still the edgy Switchfoot like HH.Ianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02850386644217359849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1781008634858321667.post-6590461235918496262010-12-23T19:24:45.029-08:002010-12-23T19:24:45.029-08:00@Dan this is my concern as well. It's interesting to note though that after Jon's solo and Fiction Family forays, he came back with arguably some of the most aggressive Switchfoot tunes ever (The Sound, Mess of Me, Bullet Soul). So maybe it's a good thing. :)Jobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06149063647341259313noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1781008634858321667.post-36131761931003404912010-12-23T13:47:19.062-08:002010-12-23T13:47:19.062-08:00I'll be honest. I personally am not a big fan of his solo material, and I particularly cannot stand Fiction Family. I suppose it allows another avenue for him to express himself, but I truly hope it stays independent of Switchfoot. The Soundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06426982008520628667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1781008634858321667.post-33760176092441335772010-12-21T22:49:55.821-08:002010-12-21T22:49:55.821-08:00If Jon Foreman is doing something related to music...If Jon Foreman is doing something related to music, whether that be with Switchfoot, FF, or solo projects it's definently something worth listening to.
