Switchfoot played a strong set yesterday at the U.S. Open of Surfing to a crowd of several thousand. We have some screen caps from the online webcast, as well as setlists and other notes.

The setlist featured a few surprises but was a relatively standard Switchfoot set.

Main
Oh! Gravity.
Stars
Mess of Me
Chem 6a/Gone
Dare You to Move
Sabotage
Hello Hurricane
This Is Your Life
Free
The Sound
Meant to Live

Encore
Needle and Haystack Life

Notes:
*Jon Foreman climbs several trusses.
*As the band began to launch into "The Sound," KROQ plays the song almost simultaneously. Talk about good timing.
*Jon calls the event an "afternoon I will never forget."
*The crowd's chants for "one more song" are answered, with Jon calling it a true encore before the band plays "Needle and Haystack Life" to conclude the afternoon.
