Of Botched Switchfoot release dates and other tweets...

As we said last night, Switchfoot torpedoed the supposed release date of July 14th for the new album, saying that it's going to be a late-August/September release. Needless to say, there is disappointment going around at the pushing-back of yet another purported release date. But there is still plenty to be optimistic about! Here's what been going down with Switchfoot on the Twitterfeed, and the news is (mostly) good.

- Making the familiar trek up to north LA from San Diego. More mixing this week. Finishing up a song called "Enough" today. Sounding great!

- This is one of the few months out of the year when So. Cal turns into Switzerland. Hills are bright green, wild flowers are blooming.

- A few of us will be hanging this Sat, April 18 from 1:30 to 2:30p at Verizon Wireless, 8867 Villa La Jolla Dr, La Jolla, CA. Come hang!

- Mixing a new tune called "this is the sound", and contrary to the rumors of an early release, new record will coming out in aug/sept. Yup!
