Ever heard of USA Today? How about the Entertainment Weekly? Yeah, those are some pretty hefty publications.
I did some research (cuz I'm a nerd like that :P) and found that USA Today has a whopping readership of 5.2 million readers, easily the largest newspaper audience in the country, according to this site. It may not mean much to you, but the journalism major in me is silently freaking out. Why?
Because, we just received word from Switchfoot's management saying that "Hello Hurricane" has been featured in the USA Today:
WOOT! :)
And the good news doesn't end there, friends. Entertainment Weekly has also done a feature on the album for their Fall Music Preview:
Here's to all the exposure and excitement that's building up for the record! Many people will be saying "Hello Hurricane" this fall, for sure!

Now, for some Charts News. "Mess of Me" is reportedly impacting officially to radio today, although other reports have it releasing a week from now. Either way, the support is starting to steadily increase for the song amongst early adaptive stations!

We've had many reports over the weekend that Switchfoot continues to represent BIG TIME during College Football.
Our friend Travis told us that "The Sound" was played on ABC Football on Saturday, and "We Are One Tonight" was played yesterday. This is great news!

UPDATE (1:45 PM PST): "Mess of Me" has been added to Switchfoot's Myspace player. Go on over and give it a listen, if by some strange chance you haven't heard the song yet.
